Weathered Wood Candle Holder. I have been working with a couple of fence posts that I found lying on the ground at the site of an old homestead. The wood is Douglas fir, and why anyone would bother to make a fence post from Doug fir I can't begin to guess. I love the texture of the weathered wood and the way it contrasts with the freshly cut surface.
