Bird Mouth Birch Bowl. I turned this natural edge birch bowl while the wood was still green. In drying, the piece distorted into a satisfying oblong shape. The exterior is nicely decorated with beads near the top and at the intersection of the foot and bowl body. There is also a lovely swatch of dark heartwood in the bottom of the bowl, contrasting with the yellow sap wood. Signed.
