Cuban Mahogany Bowls. This wood was found in a hoard collected over many decades by a woodworker in the Florida Keys. Cuban mahogany is not quite rare and hard to find, and probably endangered enough that new timber shouldn't be milled. The wood was a great pleasure to turn--it worked beautifully. This pair of bowls was made from a single board with a matching splash of sapwood in each piece.
1 7/8" tall x 5 7/8" diameter, and 1 7/8" x 4". $150.
