Maple Burl Bowl. I look at this bowl and have a hard time believing that it's actually made out of wood. The grain is so unbelievable that it is hard to imagine a tree producing this tissue and actually using it productively. The detailed rim makes this bowl a wonderfully tactile experience to hold, and the grain is a true conversation starter.
