Maple Vase. This vase evolved from a collaborative project I am working on with another artist, a part of which requires a vase form with large voids. I have rough turned several vases but this is probably the first finished piece. I figured learning to turn a vase would be half as difficult if half the wood was missing, right? This would make a terrible lemonade pitcher, but a unique vessel for dried flower arrangements.
