Mountain Mahogany Shaving Brush. My supply of mountain mahogany is dwindling, so this will be one of my last brushes from this terrific material. The wood is incredibly dense, solid, and feels great in the hand. This is one of my favorite shapes, with the rounded handle and flared top. Sanded to a sheen with 1500 grit sandpaper (ultra fine) and finished with multiple coats of teak oil.

As with all my shaving brushes, the brush head itself is made from the best silver-tipped badger hair money can buy. The brush head is absolutely top of the line and is about 2 1/2" tall and wide.

Handle is approx. 3" long x 1 1/4" diameter; overall length about 5 1/4".
